F-22 Raptor Description

F-22 Raptor
Dominating the skies, Overwhelming the threat.

You may recognize Lockheed Martin's F-22 Raptor as one of the fastest fighter jet known to mankind. This fighter jet is the only fighter capable of simultaneously taking on air-to-air and air-to-ground forces in a single sortie. This well known jet became the greatest due to the fact that it takes advantage of all modern day technological warfare. The raptor is used for intelligence gathering, surveillance, reconnaissance, and electronic attacks. The Raptor is already operational today at military bases all across the united states today. One Raptor costs 420 million dollars to build, But is it worth it?

  1. It doesn't make sense that money should be spent on these when they are a hazard to the troops. The government should cease to buy these, and instead impose that the makers can continue the sales contract as long as modifications are made to the model that accommodate for the problem at hand. If not, the sales contract should be terminated. As for the planes they have already, the planes should modified if possible, or if not, flown only by pilots who are willing to or can endure the flight.

  2. I think that these planes can be a huge plus to the air force if they are able to fix the problem. If they can't fix the problem soon I think they need to abandon the problem since they are putting so many pilots lives at risk. Also, I think that the air force needs to realize that it wasn't that pilots fault for the plane crashing and needs to own up to their mistake since many other pilots have had the problem with lack of oxygen.

  4. The F-22 Raptor definitely has some design flaws. I can't believe that such a weapon actually can become out of control because of oxygen loss. It becomes a complete hazard.
